5-Day Safari at Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at your Arusha hotel, meet your Gowitos Safaris driver-guide and depart for Tarangire National Park, following the scenic Arusha-Dodoma highway. Enjoy views of the Masai Steppe along the way. After around two hours, arrive at the park gate where your guide will handle the entry formalities.

Enjoy a full-day game drive in Tarangire, famous for large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife like lions, giraffes, zebras, and rich birdlife. Have lunch at a picnic site inside the park, then continue with afternoon game drives. Later, drive to Africa Safari Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, depart from Karatu and drive across the Great Rift Valley floor, ascending the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands and passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes and possible wildlife sightings along the way.

On the way you will have your Lunch at the picnic area, After a picnic lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive in the Central Serengeti (Seronera), famous for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of zebras and wildebeests.

Later, head to your camp for a campfire, dinner, and overnight stay.

Start your day with an optional early morning sunrise game drive, perfect for spotting nocturnal predators and early-rising wildlife along the roadside as they enjoy the cool morning air. After breakfast back at camp, embark on a full-day safari adventure across the vast Serengeti plains, named from the Maasai word “Siringet,” meaning “endless plains.”

Spend the day exploring different areas of the Serengeti National Park, in search of elephants, lions, cheetahs, leopards, zebras, eland, and numerous bird species, both resident and migratory.

After breakfast at your camp or lodge, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park, focusing on the Seronera River Valley, known for its rich wildlife and birdlife. Your professional safari guide, in constant radio contact with other guides, will help locate the best animal sightings.

By early afternoon, begin your drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying scenic views along the way. Arrive at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at your Camp, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive in one of Africa’s top wildlife destinations. Early descent increases your chances of spotting rare species like the Black Rhino and other members of the Big Five. Explore the crater floor, home to diverse wildlife within its 600-meter walls. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, then ascend the rim and return to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon.
